Q. Who provides the cover?
A. Our travel insurance policies are arranged and administered by UK Underwriting Limited and is underwritten by a panel of insurers including AXA and Primary Insurance Company.

Q. Are there any policy exclusions and conditions?
A. Yes. A specimen policy document, containing full details of cover and any exclusions and conditions which apply is available to view and print in the Policy Documentation menu.
Q. Am I eligible to take out Travel Insurance?
A. Yes, provided that you are a UK or Irish resident. The country of residence is the country in which you live for the majority of the year. Our travel insurance policies are not available to residents outside of the UK (including Isle of Man and Channel Islands) and Ireland. Residents of the Isle of Man and Channel Islands can obtain insurance excluding the payment of Insurance Premium Tax by calling our call centre on 0870 444 3778 (open 9am to 5pm on Saturdays). In order to purchase any insurance product you must be, and you represent and warrant that you are, at least 18 years of age. You may buy an insurance policy on behalf of someone under the age of 18 years of age.
Q. Is cover available for persons over the age of 64?
A. Yes, cover is available to applicants up to and including age 75 subject to terms and conditions. Please select the Plus options on Single and Annual Travel Insurance on Your Travel Insurance page.
Q. Can I take out Travel Insurance if I have any existing medical conditions?
A. 1. Does anyone have any medical conditions that require ongoing medication?
2. Has anyone been treated or investigated for any medical conditions during the last twelve months?
If you answer "Yes" to any of the above questions you must call Simple Travel Insurance screening service to find out if cover can be granted.

Please note that the medical helpline cannot offer cover in the following circumstances:
(i) If anyone is travelling or acting against medical advice; or
(ii) If anyone had been diagnosed as suffering from stress, anxiety or depression; or
(iii) If anyone is on a waiting list for in-patient treatment, awaiting treatment or awaiting the results of medical investigations; or
(iv) If anyone will be more than 26 weeks pregnant by the time you return from your trip; or
(v) If anyone has been given a terminal prognosis
Should we require any additional premium and you accept our offer, this should be paid to Travellers Protection Services either by credit card or cheque within 14 days.
Q. Can children travel independently on Annual Multi-Trip policies?
A. Yes.
Q. Does the Annual Multi-Trip world wide policy cover winter sports?
A. We do offer an annual multi trip policy with winter sports. Please select the winter sports option on the Get a Quote page.
Q. Is golf cover available?
A. Yes, upon payment of an additional premium.
Q. How do I make a claim?
A. Please see the menu option 'Making a Claim'. When making a claim remember to have your policy number and details to hand.
Q. I've bought a policy and want to change my details.
A. Please contact our call centre on 0844 412 3113 to amend your policy.
Q. Can I cancel my travel insurance?
A. You can cancel your travel insurance policy within 14 days of purchase and get a full refund providing you have not travelled or have any reason to make a claim.
Q. Who administers the claims?
A. Claims are administered by Travellers Protection Services claims service, who can be contacted on 0844 412 2724.
