We have tried to anticipate, and answer, all of the questions we think you may have about our Travel Insurance policy. However, if you have a question that has not been covered in the Q&A, please contact us.

Q. Who provides the cover?

A. Simple Travel Insurance is arranged by UK General Insurance Ltd on behalf of Ageas Insurance Limited.

Simple Travel Insurance is a trading name of UK General Insurance Ltd which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Registered in England and Wales Company No. 4506493. Registered Office: Cast House, Old Mill Business Park, Gibraltar Island Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS10 1RJ.

Q. Are there any policy exclusions and conditions?

A. Yes. A specimen policy document, containing full details of cover and any exclusions and conditions which apply is available to view and print in the Policy Documentation menu.

Q. How do I make a claim?

A. Please see the menu option 'Making a Claim'. When making a claim remember to have your policy number and details to hand.

Q. I've bought a policy and want to change my details.

A. Please contact us for all policy related queries on CustomerSupport@SimpleTravelInsurance.co.uk

Q. Can I cancel my travel insurance?

A. You can cancel your travel insurance policy within 14 days of purchase and get a full refund providing you have not travelled or have any reason to make a claim.

Q. What if I need to make a complaint?

A. In the event of a complaint arising there is structured complaints procedure as explained in the policy document.

Q. What happens when my annual policy expires?

A. We’d love to welcome you over to Primary Insurance and will send you more information on how you can take out cover.

When your travel insurance policy comes up for renewal we’ll contact you with a reminder in advance of the renewal date. You will be provided with further information on why you should choose Primary Insurance as your travel insurer for the next 12 months and details on how to get a competitive quote.

Q. Am I still covered?

A. If you already have Simple Travel Insurance then your existing policy will remain exactly the same and valid. Whether you have taken out a Single Trip or Annual Multi Trip policy you can rest assured that you are still covered by the same great insurance that made you choose Simple Travel Insurance in the first place. So that means:

  • The same swift and easy claims process
  • The same great cover from Ageas

Q. Can I still upgrade my policy or add additional extras?

A. After the 30th November 2011 you will be unable to upgrade your policy or add optional extras such as winter sports cover.

However, if you find your existing cover no longer meets your needs Primary Insurance can offer you a competitive quote on a new travel insurance policy and you can choose between three cover levels and a number of optional extras.
